Trip to Wu Yi Mountain

Since we went to Wu Yi Mountain, we had no Wifi. We were not able to post anything, but now we can! Yay!

We rode a train for about 7 hours. It was long and tiring, but I was able to get some homework done.

We climbed Wu Yi Mountain. There was a total of 848 stairs! It was extremely tiring because the stairs were uneven and steep. Although the view was nice, I think once is enough.

The wonderful view!

After the hike, we went river rafting for about an hour.

We also went to a place called Thread of the Sky. Since it was a narrow passage way, we had to climb the stairs sideways.

On the way back to HwaNan College, some elderly Chinese offered us some corn bread. I though that they were offering a napkin at first since it was so flat! It even looks like I am eating a napkin.

  1. Aimee,

謝謝 for posting nice pictures of the trip. What is weather/temperature in China now?

Is the corn bread sweet? Looks interesting to see. How are other food in China? Have you tried something different yet?

    1. It is cold in the morning and at night, but during the day, the weather is nice. The corn bread was not really sweet. It tasted like a tortilla. The food in China is amazing! I tried eating rabbit and pig's blood. The rabbit was a bit salty, and the pig's blood tasted like pork flavored tofu.
