Then Aimee, Nicole, Izzy, Mrs. Zhang-Micco, and I visited one of the English classes. We had to introduce ourselves in Chinese and they told us that we speak really well. We got to sit with them and they were very excited! They tried to use both English and Chinese to speak to us and we tried our best to answer back in Chinese. They took a lot of pictures of us and with us, it was like we were celebrities...
The five of us returned for lunch after. Then all 8 students, Mrs. Zhang- Micco and Mrs. Normand headed to another classroom. In this class three students each gave a presentation on Fuzhou. They taught us the history of Fuzhou, famous snacks and famous places to visit. We were also able to sit with these students and talk with them. Like the other class they also took pictures of us and with us.
After that we got a tour of their cafeteria. They have 3 floors but the food is only on the top 2 floors. On the third floor you can choose vegetables to put into soup. We also visited the convenience store on campus.
We went back to said convenience store after dinner. We all loaded up on snacks which we thought would taste good or looked interesting. Since we will be going on an overnight trip to WuYi mountain tomorrow we thought it would be a good idea to bring along some snacks.
I bought birthday cake flavored oreos, milk sandwich cookies, pooh bear candy, and lip balm!
